Board of Directors & Coordinators

  • President

    president@chehalemvalleysc.com

Our family joined CVSC in Summer 2023 and I was elected to the board during Fall 2023. I grew up playing club soccer in Portland and was fortunate enough to play all the way into college at Oregon State University. Playing for a strong club was exceedingly valuable in providing me with the skills and experience to grow as a player, but also as a person. I joined the NYS board to help grow the club and provide players in our community with the opportunity to grow and play the beautiful game I love.

I am a winemaker in the Willamette Valley and am raising two kids, Matthew and Margaret with my wife, Aubrey. I am an avid runner and enjoy just about any outdoor adventure including skiing, camping, fly fishing, and foraging.

  • Vice President

    vicepresident@chehalemvalleysc.com

I was born and raised in Oregon. I am spoiled with an awesome wife and together we have two kids, both have been involved with CVSC and have received great value from their club involvement. Most of my time as a soccer player has been in Yamhill County, including playing at Linfield College. I am excited to have my son grow as a player locally with his peers that he will be playing with into the future.

Professionally, I have been in the Aviation/Aerospace industry since 2001. Since 2011, I have been a co-owner of the local aviation business called Precision, now based in McMinnville. As a local business owner, I enjoy contributing to my community. At CVSC, I would like to be a fresh set of eyes while creating a soccer destination in our backyard. Ethics, purpose, and most of all energy is what I strive to provide to the club and its players.

  • Secretary

    secretary@chehalemvalleysc.com

I have been involved with CVSC since 2022 when my son, Jackson, joined. I wanted to be part of the CVSC leadership team to help support our youth, community, and promote healthy participation in youth sports.

I work at Randall Children's Hospital in the Children's Cancer and Blood Disorders program as well as provide leadership for Psychology throughout the hospital. I am also part of the Clinical Faculty at Pacific University. My wife and I have two children, both soccer players...we have lived in our historic Newberg home since 2012. We love spending time at the beach, with family and friends, and going on adventures.

  • Treasurer

    treasurer@chehalemvalleysc.com

I decided to step up to the Treasurer role with CVSC to help the club remain fiscally viable for current players, as well as to hopefully open up membership to a wider group of untapped players in the area. While I do not have experience playing soccer, I grew up playing on team sports and am a firm believer in their ability to teach valuable life skills and create lasting relationships and memories. My husband is a coach for Chehalem Valley Soccer Club and two of my four children currently play on CVSC teams.

I received a bachelors in Accounting and Finance from George Fox University and have been a community member of Newberg and Dundee for over 20 years. Formerly, I managed the finances of major projects for an international engineering and construction company for 10 years. Currently, I homeschool my children while also bookkeeping for a local small business, but spend most of my time as an official kid activity chauffeur. When not on the sidelines of a soccer field supporting my husband and children, you’ll find me tending to my garden on our property in Dundee, reading a book, or working on my latest craft.

  • Registrar

    registrar@chehalemvalleysc.com

For more than 5 years, I've served as the Registrar at CVSC. In my role, I've been dedicated to ensuring smooth operations and supporting various community initiatives.

Beyond my professional life, I am also the school secretary at Joan Austin Elementary School, where I enjoy contributing to the educational environment and supporting the students, teachers, and families.

Outside of work, I cherish spending time with my loved ones. I'm a proud parent to two boys who have been active in Newberg soccer, a passion that has brought our family closer together.

In my free time, I indulge in my hobbies of camping in the great outdoors, reading a good book, and unwinding with a Netflix series. These activities allow me to recharge and stay connected to what matters most in life.

I am committed to fostering a vibrant and supportive community where everyone can thrive. I look forward to continuing my journey of service and personal growth, both professionally and personally.

  • Communications Coordinator

    info@chehalemvalleysc.com

I got involved with CVSC in 2022 when we chose to make the leap from rec. soccer to club. I now have two sons who are playing with CVSC and a third one to join soon. I have been learning a lot as a soccer mom, having never played soccer myself!

I stepped into the role of Communications Coordinator when asked by a friend if I could help out. I have a passion for bringing people and resources together and look forward to building community with our members. I feel communication is a foundational piece of any organization, or truly, any relationship in our lives. It's my pleasure to help elevate the communication within our club! I manage the website and social media for CVSC as well as assist with other projects and events.

Beyond volunteering, I run a business consulting practice that pulls my strengths in organization and communication. I am also a published author. I help my clients with business operations, communications, events, and "other duties as assigned".

When I'm not busy working behind a screen, you'll likely find me on a trail, supporting a local craft brewery, or with my nose in a book.

  • Team Manager Coordinator

This will be our family’s second year with CVSC! My daughter started last season with the 2012 girls and my son joined this season with the 2007 boys team.

With CVSC’s immense growth from last year, I really believe we’re moving in a positive direction. I’m excited and honored to get the chance to be a part of it! This will be my second year as a team manager, and I hope to support our other team managers, coaches, and club members in any way I can.

I am currently the director of our home (a.k.a. Stay-at-home Mom), but in my previous life I was a X-ray Technologist and the Student Coordinator of Diagnostic Imaging Services at OHSU. My husband Jeremy is an electrician, and our children were born and raised here in Newberg!

  • Fundraising Coordinator

Our two boys joined CVSC this season (Fall 2024) and I’m excited to see the growth of the club in even that short amount of time. My hope is that my previous experience as the fundraising board chair of the boys’ elementary school, as well as my professional event experience will serve our club well. I have a desire to serve our community and all of our kiddos.

When I am not watching soccer I am working full time in the wine industry, running a small business and working with a local dog rescue. Our family loves outdoor hobbies including kayaking, camping, hiking, and snowboarding.

  • Field & Equipment Coordinator

  • Events Coordinator

This is my daughter's first year with CVSC and I am really excited for her and what I can hopefully bring to the Events Coordinator position to help the club continue to be successful. I have always been grateful for those behind the scenes that make sports happen for our youth. Anyone can benefit from all the positives that playing sports on a team can bring. I wanted to be part of that and help grow the sport in our area and reach more families any way I can.
My day job is recruiting and helping travel nurses across the country to find places that can utilize their skills to help others. It’s the passion for helping others that led me into that role and I absolutely love it! My wife, two kids, and myself enjoy going out and exploring new places and trying different foods. We are avid College Football fans and try watch and get to every Ducks game we can.
